KS Bistra is a semi-grotesque with atypical contrast behavior, combining natural and reverse contrast within a humanist framework. Its construction features subtle ink traps, asymmetric and calligraphic curvature, lending both texture and movement. The name- KS Bistra, derived from the Serbian word for “clear” reflects its fluid, river- like morphology. With distinctive forms such as the looped “S” or weird “t,” KS Bistra balances legibility with personality, a grotesque that defies neutrality, designed for distinctive voice in editorial, branding, and mostly display contexts. You can also enhance your designs with selection of ligatures available.

KS Bistra is offered in a single weight and style by design. One cut, done right.

Siddhartha had come to understand that the world of the river was the same as the world of men, that they were one, and that, like all things in the world, the river, too, was in constant motion, eternally flowing, never the same. But how had he come to understand this? Not through thinking, not through study, not through cleverness or wisdom. He had come to understand it through the flow of the river itself, through his long meditations by the water, through his listening to the sound of the water, which spoke to him of the unity of all things. It was not the great teachings or doctrines that had revealed this to him, but the simple, unceasing flow of the river, the never-ending movement of water that mirrors the perpetual motion of life.

To se stalno ponavlja, ta scena, u životu,
po filmovima i knjigama.

Ljudi piju kafu i puše cigarete.
Pored još nekih radnji
ta scena se stalno ponavlja,
pomislio sam na to i video proziran dim
kako izvire iz šoljice sa vrućom kafom.
